The Chillingham Village Markets were established in January 2009 to provide a venue for local people to sell their crafts and produce and to act as a meeting place where people from all over the district can catch up with each other over a cup of tea or coffee. The markets are run entirely by CCA volunteers and all funds raised are used to fund the day to day costs of  running  the Community Centre or in supporting other community centre projects.  The markets are also used by other local community groups (eg. school and pre-school) to raise funds to support  their activities. We want our markets to be a place where the Community Association, the Stallholders and the customers all share equally the benefits of the market and enjoy the relaxed friendly atmosphere of the Chillingham Community Centre. Our markets have between 25 and 30 regular stallholders and we will be putting their details up on this website over the next couple of months as they become available. Stallholder cost is $10 with own insurance or  $15 if you dont have market insurance.
