The Chillingham Village Markets are held at the Chillingham Community Centre on the second Sunday of the month (8.00am until 2.00pm).  Come along and enjoy the relaxed friendly atmosphere. You'll be most welcome. Click here to see our video of the Chillingham Markets.

Chillingham Voices

Community Choir with choirmaster Harlie Axford. Thursday evenings 6.30pm til 8.30pm. No auditions, all welcome. See our latest performances at the Tweed Art Gallery and in the Murwillumbah Arts Festival here.

Our last performance was on 7 August at Stokers Siding's "15minutes of fame" The choir had a great night there and I can fully recommend it as a good venue for a night out. You'll be able to see our performance at Stokers Siding shortly courtesy of Reinhard Freize who kindly provided us with videos of our performance. Many thanks Reinhard!

 Chillingham Art Group

Meets every Tuesday at the Community Centre from 10.30am til 3.00pm. All are welcome. The Chillingham Art Group with the support of the Tweed Shire Salt Cultural Arts Fund have run a series of art workshops over the last 12 months. A number of peer assisted workshops were run by members of the Chillingham Art Group and some excellent instructional workshops run by well known local artists including, Chris Degenhardt (3D art workshop/acrylic painting), Andy Reimanis (Chief judge of Tweed Naturally Art award/ pastels), Lorraine Rogers (watercolour) and Gloria Roszkiewicz (portrait painting)

These workshops were well supported by members of the Chillingham Art Group and many other residents of the Tweed Shire and have assisted all participants in understanding some of the basics and complexities of art and improving their painting skills.

Even though our Tweed Shire Salt Cultural Arts funding has now been finalized, we aim to continue to run workshops approximately four times a year through our own fundraising efforts. We invite everyone who participated in our workshops and anyone else who is interested to watch out for our next workshop which will be held in August or September this year.
